The brief states that as a small art collective we should work collaboratively to produce an Artist Zine to showcase each of our different talents. Each artist will create 2 A5 pages towards the finished publication which will be exhibited at the Salford Zine Library. Salford Zine Library are looking to expand their collection of zines and have given us the theme of 'Music'. They would like us, as a group, to respond to a variety of different genres of music which should have a personal response on what music means to them. All artists work should use a wide variety of practices, tools and materials in order to meet the need for an original, inventive design. The submitted work should be mixed media based.The work should be produced using Non-Traditional Graphic techniques which means digital and electronic graphic media should only be used to add finishing touches and produce the final publication.
Alongside the production of the work each individual artist needs to have an online blog that shows the processes, techniques and steps taken towards the final product. Us, as a group, should produce and A3 poster to help promote the exhibition and the finished publication.
